The 'Angel Of Darkness'

     "Heh heh..."I heard someone's voice hiss into my ear,"You are lucky that I'm deciding to spare you..."

I glared at the darkness around me. There was no one to be found. I looked around again,but still no one was to be seen. Was I hearing things? I have no idea...

Then I felt someone's fist bash into my face. I went flying into a wall and blood shot out of my mouth.

"What the heck?!" I spat as i wiped the blood from my face. Then I heard that evil laugh again...

"alright,"I muttered,"Who are you and where are you?!" There was no sound. My blood-red eyes narrowed to slits. I was getting really ticked off.

"Show yourself!"I spat. Then I heard the sound of footsteps comming closer to me.And I could faintly make out a sillouhette.(sp?)

"You silly mortal," the figure said with an evil smirk on his face.

I glared at him. Who was this guy? And whoever he was, he was gonna get the beating of his life...

"Who are you?"I spat again. My hands formed into fists.

"Heh heh heh...I am the Angel Of Darkness..." He replied. My eyes widened a bit. Was this really....The Angel Of Darkness?

Then my thoughts were intrupted. I felt a sharp blade go straight into my chest. My eyes widened as I looked down at him. He smirked.

"Gotcha,"he simply said with an evil tone in his voice. Then he pulled the blade out of me. I coughed out blood and dropped to my knees,clutching the stab wound.

"And before you die,"The "Angel of Darkness" said,"I want to know this: Is your name Shadow?" I glared at him and said nothing. He simply smirked.

"I thought so,"he replied. I coughed out more blood. I swear I only had like half of my blood left in me.

Then I felt the blade go into my shoulder. I cried in pain. He smirked agian. (I was begining to really hate that smirk...)

"Yes,"He sneered,"Cry in pain. I overwhelms me with joy!! ahhahahahaha!" Then two other blades when into my chest and my other shoulder.

This time I tried my hardest not to make a sound. He looked at me,as if he wanted me not to make a sound.(he was really boggling my mind...)

I coughed out even more blood.Gosh I was in so much pain.But I would let him see me in pain.

"Any last words...Shadow the Hedgehog?" he whispered. I slowly looked up at him. i knew this was my last moment on this planet.

"Y-yes..." I muttered,"I-Is your r-realy name M-Mephiles?" He smirked.

"Yes...it is..." Then I felt the blade go into my heart and I fell to the ground dead....
